NEW FROM JUST ESSENTIALS - Exposed Cosmetics + Amazing Shine Lashes!

Now, at this point, I've been asked numerous times about where exactly it is that I source my more affordable cosmetics and haircare products. Well, the truth is, Just Essentials is the site that I resort to nine times out of ten.

Just Essentials, as well as being a physical store, is a fantastic UK based online outlet for professional hair, nail and makeup products that won't break the bank. Their range of items is so extensive that you'll definitely find everything you're looking for (and more...) - the only way is Just Essentials. Pretty accurate motto if you ask me.

Recently, the team over at Just Essentials have been working incredibly hard on expanding their stunning in-house cosmetics brand Exposed Cosmetics and, today, I have the absolute pleasure of showing you some of their fabulous new goodies, plus a couple of extras from Amazing Shine. So, without further ado, let's get into some makeup!

Bold Definition Highlight Kit* - £2.99
As usual, I decided to be predictable and start with an absolute BANGER. You guys know exactly how much I adore a good glow and, quite frankly, this one has impressed me on a level that I wasn't quite ready for.

I have a lot of trouble finding highlighters that give my skin a more wet look rather than a glittery one, however, this formula, for me, is absolutely spot on and 100% what I've been searching for. The texture of these is beautifully buttery, smooth and very finely milled - none of that vile chunky glitter that I openly despise.

The kit contains three very versatile shades (a pale champagne, an iridescent rose and a glistening bronze) that cater to a variety of skintones and can also be used as eyeshadows if desired. I've absolutely fallen in love with these high sheen powders - they really do help to create an amazing glow.

Bold Definition Contour Kit* - £2.99
Going on to the next one (cue the Jay Z track), here we have a small, dainty cream contour kit, perfect for cutting and sculpting those features. The layout of the palette is exactly the same as in the highlight kit (which is fabulous, as I'm a fan of coherence within a product range) and contains three pans of pure goodness.

These are very long lasting on the face and blend in flawlessly, as they're rather loose textured and naturally creamy - I don't need to spend ages warming the product up with my fingers in order to achieve a suitable consistency.

For me, the colours are absolutely ideal - you cannot get any closer to my perfect highlight, bronze and contour shades! However, I know that, in reality, for anyone darker than myself or on the other end of the spectrum (i.e. fairly pale), this palette may pose some problems. Therefore, a shade range expansion would be the only real suggestion that I can give here because the formula is simply stunning.

From top to bottom: Chocolate Brown, California Blonde
Auto Brow Pencil (Chocolate Brown & California Blonde)* - £1.99
To be perfectly honest, the minute I set eyes on these pencils, I was incredibly unsure of the shades as, normally, I like to do my brows with a cool toned dark brown (almost black) colour to suit my hair and keep them looking on fleek! However, due to the sun, my hair has gone slightly more mousy than usual - I just about get away with using the Chocolate Brown shade (if you're not a brunette, California Blonde is the one for you!) and I'm loving the formula.

I really enjoy the fact that it winds up to reveal more product (I personally prefer auto brow pencils to normal sharpenable ones) and the pencil itself is very soft and creamy, yet provides a natural finish to the brows, filling them in evenly. I couldn't ask for more, really - I'll be using this frequently throughout the Summer period!

Unicorn Highlighter* - £2.99
For a while now, I've seen a lot of unicorn/rainbow products floating around the Internet and have been dying to try one. In other words, I was way too excited to try this highlighter. (Honestly, when it comes to strobing products, I'm like a kid in a candy store, it's ridiculous...) However, luckily for me, this one lived up to my expectations, and maybe even exceeded them slightly.

I adore the spectrum of hues, as they range from a warm red to a more cool toned violet, but you can even create your own custom shades by mixing as few or as many together as you like. These are all soft, creamy and smooth and apply stunningly - I love to use these for a nice pop of colour on the eyes too and they blend really well with my other shadows! Versatility goals SHOOK.

I think this is a really high quality product with a rather creative edge that's 100% worth trying if you like to break the boundaries with your makeup.

Rose Gold Oval Brush Set* - £9.99
Oval brushes. Where do we begin? Lately, I've been seeing so many oval brushes on the market and wondering why they're so special and if they really have the potential to completely change my blending game. And the result? Well, let's just say that I'm suitably impressed.

Firstly, the rose gold packaging is absolutely gorgeous and really makes the brushes stand out within my collection; aesthetically, these were an immediate YES. I also love the fact that Exposed Cosmetics have marked very clearly the function of each brush - for somebody new to makeup who's not so sure, I reckon that would be an incredibly handy thing to have.

With regards to the brushes themselves, I'm also over the moon and bowled over by the quality of the bristles. These are just so soft! And, better yet, I've had no shedding since receiving them, so I'm very optimistic for the future.

I'm having a fabulous time using these for flawless blending of the contour (especially on the cheekbones), however, they can totally be used for other purposes, as they're multi-use so, for the price, you really are getting a HUGE bargain.

Eyebrow Definer Brush* - £1.99
In reality, I don't have an awful lot to say about this brush, mainly because it doesn't have any real flaws. First of all, the price point for this quality of brush is ridiculously good - the bristles are very dense, allowing for precise application every time. I've been using it to fill out my brows lately and (although I shouldn't, as it's an eyebrow definer brush) draw out the perfect wing and, for both, it's been amazing. I can see myself doing my makeup and travelling with this baby for a long time - honestly, I'm beginning to favour it over some of my more expensive picks, which just proves that it's worth it.

Amazing Shine Eyelashes (326 & 503)* - £1.99
And, last but not least, we have these beautiful and inexpensive lashes by Amazing Shine, which have, admittedly, been the star of the show when it comes to my eye makeup, as they really enhance an otherwise regular look. Made from 100% human hair, these adhere and camouflage themselves seamlessly with your lashes. And it also helps that they look AMAZING on.

503 is my favourite pair for adding some subtle length and flutter for a more natural finish, whilst 326 gives you the length AND the volume simultaneously, creating that dramatic effect that's ideal for a night out. Both are lightweight and reusable, so for £1.99 per pair, you've simply got to ask yourself the question: why not?

* The products marked with an asterisk have been gifted to me, free of charge, for review. However, all opinions on them are strictly honest.
